Police said the Hilltown Township, Bucks County woman was intoxicated and spit on an officer during a call
Charges were held for Bucks County Common Pleas Court at a preliminary hearing last week for a Hilltown Township woman accused of assaulting a police officer during a domestic disturbance call in November 2025.
Samantha Cieri, 26, is charged with aggravated assault of a police officer, a felony, as well as misdemeanor simple assault and harassment, per court records, for allegedly spitting in an officer's face.
According to an affidavit filed by township police, officers were dispatched to an apartment on Mill Road shortly before 7 p.m. Nov. 24, 2025 and encountered Cieri, who police described as intoxicated and agitated.
As the officer approached, Cieri allegedly spit at him, with saliva striking the officer’s right cheek.
Police took Cieri into custody at the scene. While detained, she told officers she had been punched in the head by a relative, causing a welt, and that the earlier altercation had occurred after she spit at him.
The man she accused was later taken into custody on separate allegations, according to the complaint.
Cieri was transported to Grand View Hospital for evaluation and was cleared for incarceration, police said.
She is free on 10% of $100,000 cash bail and will be arraigned on April 2.
