A late-night house fire in Perkasie Borough brought a large response from firefighters across the region Thursday night into early Friday morning.

Emergency dispatch reports indicated a fully involved dwelling fire around 11:51 p.m. at a two-story home in the 200 block of West Walnut Street. Initial calls reported a fire with possible entrapment, prompting a rapid response from multiple fire companies.

    
    


Firefighters arriving at 205 W. Walnut St. encountered heavy fire conditions, with flames showing from the second floor of the residence, according to public safety dispatch reports. All available crews were placed into service as firefighters began attacking the blaze.

Shortly after midnight, evacuation orders were issued at 12:03 a.m., followed by a second alarm at 12:07 a.m. to bring additional firefighters and equipment to the scene.

Fire companies responding included Perkasie Fire Company, Sellersville Fire Company, Chalfont Fire Company, Milford Township Fire Company, Hilltown Township Fire Company, and West End Fire Company (Rescue 18). St. Luke’s/Grand View EMS also responded to assist.

Officials said no injuries were reported, and it was believed that no one was inside the home when the fire started.

The Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
