Community-wide winter celebration sponsored by Main Street North Wales
Residents and visitors are invited to bundle up and celebrate the season as North Wales Borough hosts the 2026 North Wales Snow Ball, a community-wide winter celebration sponsored by Main Street North Wales.
The Snow Ball is set for Saturday, Feb. 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Halligan Bar at North Penn Social Club and will feature dinner, dancing, a photo booth and an open bar. Organizers described the event as a chance to come together and celebrate community spirit, winter magic and the small-town charm that defines North Wales.
Tickets for the event are now on sale. Admission is free for children 12 and under, $30 for guests under 21, and $50 for guests 21 and over. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
Main Street North Wales, a nonprofit tourism group and business alliance, said proceeds from the Snow Ball will support its mission to strengthen connections between residents, businesses and organizations throughout the borough.
“Our goal is to grow North Wales together,” the organization said. “That means creating opportunities for people to connect, supporting local businesses, and helping make downtown a place residents want to spend time.”
Building momentum downtown
Main Street North Wales focuses on fostering economic vitality and community engagement through collaboration. Its initiatives include community-based marketing that supports borough businesses, aesthetic improvements such as wayfinding signage and planters, and working with residents and organizations to expand local event programming. The group also partners with the borough to develop strategies that attract vibrant businesses when commercial properties become available.
“A vibrant downtown is a downtown that residents want to be in more often,” the organization's website states. “We will continue working with business owners, the municipality and community partners to beautify the borough, improve walkability and highlight North Wales as a destination worth stopping for.”
The nonprofit’s leadership team includes President Justin Copenhaver, Treasurer Elliot Sadlon, Secretary Dan Levy, along with board members Star Little and Katelyn Mathe.
