Archbishop Carroll girls basketball used a dominant first half to pull away from Lansdale Catholic girls basketball Thursday night, rolling to a 54–30 victory in Philadelphia Catholic League play. 

According to The Mercury, Villanova commit Alexis Eberz scored 21 of her game-high 23 points before halftime, helping the Patriots open a 28–14 lead at the break after an 11–0 run late in the second quarter.

While Alexis Eberz was limited to two points after halftime, Carroll extended its advantage behind Kayla Eberz, who scored all 13 of her points in the second half, as the Patriots improved to 7–5 overall and 2–0 in league play, per the gameplay report. 

Ali Kaltenbacher led Lansdale Catholic with eight points as the Crusaders saw their four-game winning streak snapped and moved to 7–2 overall and 1–1 in the PCL.
