A Lansdale man has been jailed on $1 million bail after being charged Wednesday with 10 felony counts each of child rape and aggravated indecent assault of a 10-year-old girl for alleged incidents that occurred over a two-year period at two locations in the borough.
Dany Heriberto Martinez Gomez, 30, of the 20th block of Lincoln Avenue, was also charged by detectives with Lansdale Police with a felony count each of indecent assault on a person under 13, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of children, 10 misdemeanor counts of indecent assault on a person under 13, and misdemeanor terroristic threats, per court records.
On Dec. 26, 2025, police received a call from Special Victims Unit detectives from Hudson County, NJ regarding an alleged sexual assault that occurred on Shaw Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in Lansdale Borough, according to the affidavit.
Hudson County detectives told Lansdale authorities that Hudson Regional Hospital notified police after a 10-year-old victim was brought there by a family member, according to the complaint. The victim told police that Martinez Gomez had been sexually assaulting her for the past three years, beginning when they were seven years old, police said.
The victim told police Martinez Gomez would allegedly touch her private parts over and under her clothes in a bedroom, telling her they were playing a game and that the game was “to have S-E-X,” detectives said in the complaint. At one point, the victim called out for help, and once a relative came into the room, Martinez Gomez said they were playing a game and it was nothing serious, according to the affidavit.
Detectives said Martinez Gomez, who worked at a pet food factory, allegedly raped the child once a week over three years.
Martinez Gomez allegedly threatened to kill the victim and her mother if she told the truth about what happened.
A preliminary hearing is set for April 13 before Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine.
All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
