A real snow day would call for the last day of school to be pushed to a Monday in June
As Winter Storm Hernando moves into the region, North Penn School District announced that all schools will operate on an asynchronous virtual instructional day Monday.
All staff will work remotely unless otherwise directed by a supervisor.
School buildings and district offices will be closed, and there will be no after-school or evening activities.
The district also announced that no transportation will be provided for public, outside services or non-public schools.
Staff and parents are advised to check their email for additional details regarding the virtual schedule.
An asynchronous virtual day avoids the last day of school this year falling on a Monday.
