Residents of all ages are invited to learn how to protect themselves from scams during a free community seminar hosted March 7 at Central Schwenkfelder Church in Worcester Township.
The event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 S. Valley Forge Road (GPS: Lansdale), will focus on identifying common scams and understanding what steps to take if you fall victim to one.
Representatives from Univest Bank will lead the presentation, outlining current fraud trends, warning signs to watch for and practical guidance for safeguarding personal and financial information.
The seminar is designed for individuals of all ages, emphasizing prevention and awareness as key tools in avoiding deception. Refreshments will be provided.
