One person transported after late-morning collision at Allentown Road intersection
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash Friday morning at the intersection of Forty Foot Road and Allentown Road that temporarily blocked traffic in the area.
The collision was reported at 11:33 a.m., with initial dispatch notes indicating heavy front-end damage and fluids on the roadway.
One person was transported to a local hospital by Skippack Emergency Medical Services. The extent of injuries, along with the individual’s age and gender, were not immediately available.
Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company assisted Towamencin Police at the scene. Fire police assisted with traffic control as the crash blocked portions of the roadway.
Forge Gate Towing was requested for vehicle removal. Further details were not immediately released.
