The fire company’s Ladies Auxiliary will host its first Beef and Beer fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 21
Supporters of the Colmar Volunteer Fire Company will have two chances in the coming weeks to help raise funds for the local firehouse while enjoying food, drinks and a night out.
Beef and beer set for Feb. 21
The fire company’s Ladies Auxiliary will host its first Beef and Beer fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Cannoneers Sportsmens Club in Lansdale Borough.
The evening will feature a DJ, raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Tickets include food, beer and house wine.
Organizers said the event is aimed at raising funds to support the firehouse and its ongoing needs.
Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased online through the Ladies Auxiliary’s event page.
Dine and donate in March
The fundraising continues the following month with a dine-and-donate event on Wednesday, March 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse, 115 Garden Golf Blvd., Montgomeryville.
A portion of each sale during the event will be donated back to the fire company. Diners must present the event flyer for their purchase to count toward the fundraiser.
Fire company officials say community support at events like these helps provide funding for equipment, training and other operational costs that keep volunteers ready to respond when emergencies strike.
