Police seek information after overnight thefts from vehicles in Montgomery Township neighborhoods

Police alerted the public to the thefts Friday morning

Montgomery Township Police Department are asking for the public’s help as officers investigate a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles in two residential neighborhoods.

The incidents occurred in the early Wednesday morning hours in the Heather Knoll and Meadow Glen developments, according to police. 

Investigators are working to identify those responsible and are seeking surveillance footage or witness accounts that could aid the investigation.

Anyone who observed suspicious activity in those neighborhoods or who has doorbell or security camera video is asked to submit a tip or contact Montgomery Township Police at 215-362-2301. Police said residents should call 911 immediately if they see suspicious activity in progress.

Authorities also reminded residents to keep vehicle doors locked at all times and to avoid leaving valuables in plain view inside parked vehicles.
