Towamencin Township dispensary celebrates milestone with storewide discounts, giveaways and community event

This Friday, one local dispensary is turning five and throwing a party that blends patient care, serious savings and a waffle that might just steal the show.

Vytal Options Lansdale at the Allen-Forge Shopping Center at Allentown and Valley Forge roads in Towamencin will celebrate its fifth anniversary on Friday, April 3 with a full day of promotions, vendor pop-ups and a visit from the Philly Waffle Cabin, bringing a mix of community energy and cannabis culture to its South Valley Forge Road location.

Patients visiting the dispensary can expect a packed lineup of deals, including 35% off storewide, double reward points and a range of tiered discounts across dozens of brands.

The first 70 patients through the door will also be eligible for a doorbuster deal featuring discounted flower, while supplies last.

Beyond the discounts, the event will feature pop-ups with several well-known brands in Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana market, including Backyard, INSA, Strane, Organic Remedies and Standard Farms. Swag giveaways and surprise promotions are also planned throughout the day.

And then there is the wildcard: the Philly Waffle Cabin food truck, serving up a specialty creation dubbed “The Vytal,” a dessert-style waffle topped with mocha coffee chip ice cream, Belgian chocolate drizzle, chocolate chips and whipped cream. The truck is expected to be on site from noon through at least 5 p.m. or longer..

While the celebration leans festive, the milestone reflects a broader story about growth in Pennsylvania’s medical cannabis industry. Vytal Options operates under its parent company, PA Options for Wellness, which was founded in 2014 with a research-driven approach to cannabis care.

Headquartered in Harrisburg, the company was among the first in the state to receive a Clinical Registrant license in partnership with Penn State College of Medicine, positioning it at the forefront of studying patient outcomes and developing targeted treatments. Its operations include a 65,000-square-foot grow and processing facility in Perry County, along with a growing network of dispensaries across Pennsylvania.

At the core of the company’s model is a focus on patient-centered care, according to its website, blending plant science and medicine to create consistent, pharmaceutical-grade products. Its in-house brands — including byVytal, Mood and Solventless — offer a range of options from full-spectrum RSO and flower strains to solventless rosins and sublingual troches, alongside products from other top names in the state’s medical marijuana program.

Company leadership has emphasized both access and innovation as the market continues to expand statewide, noting Pennsylvania remains one of the fastest-growing medical cannabis markets in the country.

Five years in, the Lansdale location has become a fixture in that landscape — and Friday’s event is equal parts thank-you, milestone and invitation.

Doors open with deals, the vendors will line up, and somewhere between the discounts and the dessert waffles, a local business will quietly celebrate half a decade of serving patients — one visit, one product and one carefully curated experience at a time.
