From lush greens to formal celebrations, IVCC blends tradition and elegance in Franconia Township
Indian Valley Country Club has long served as an anchor for special moments in Bucks and Montgomery counties, a place where weddings, celebrations, and casual family time all find their perfect setting.
With more than 65 years of history, a well-maintained golf course, elegant event spaces, and a warm, family-oriented atmosphere, IVCC is more than a club — it is woven into the stories of its members.
Heritage, Golf, and Atmosphere
Founded in 1952, IVCC began as a small group of friends wanting more access to golf in the Lansdale area. They purchased a horse farm in Franconia Township, near Telford Borough, and built what would become a classic 18-hole golf course designed by William Gordon, with recent restoration input by A.H. Green Design Company.
The terrain — rolling hills crossed by Indian Creek, mature trees, and a gracious farmhouse-turned-clubhouse — reflects both the club’s heritage and its elevation into a modern, private country club.
The course and practice facilities are high-quality. IVCC boasts a premier short-game practice area with bunkers, two putting greens, a state-of-the-art teaching facility that includes swing analysis and fitting rooms, and PGA-qualified staff for lessons. Both novice and experienced golfers have spots to hone their game, according to its website.
More Than Golf — Family, Food, and Festivities
Golf isn’t the only draw. IVCC offers a full suite of amenities for the whole family. The pool complex is a centerpiece of summer with zero-entry children’s pool, fountains, a standard-depth adult pool, playground, jungle gym, locker rooms, showers, the “Sand Trap” Bar & Grille poolside restaurant, and frequent themed events like Luau BBQs and family pool bashes.
On the dining side, according to its site, members can enjoy a Bistro52 dining room, pub-style meals, formal banquet facilities, private dining rooms, and terrace and deck options overlooking the golf course. The culinary staff are highlighted on IVCC’s site; food service comes up often in testimonials as a core reason guests and members feel special.
Events & Celebrations — The Cyr Family Example
In her message, IVCC’s Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Kayla Leary shared how the Cyr family has made IVCC the backdrop for multiple life milestones. Their daughter Sydney’s wedding took place in the Grand Ballroom; later, that same space hosted a baby shower.
Leary quoted Mrs. Cyr: “The food was amazing, and my guests were very impressed. The service was excellent and went the extra mile to help with setup and cleanup.”
These reoccurring moments, large and small, speak to the club’s emphasis on quality service, attention to detail, and creating inviting spaces
As Leary noted: “Every family has moments they will remember forever … What makes moments like these so meaningful isn’t just the beauty of the setting or the elegance of the space. It’s the understanding that every event, big or small, matters deeply.”
IVCC positions itself not only as a venue but as an active participant in its members’ stories — whether it’s the formal elegance of a wedding, the communal joy of a family dinner, or the quieter comforts of a poolside sunset.
Indian Valley Country Club is at 650 Bergey Road, Telford, PA 18969, about 10 minutes off Route 309 or a short drive from the Northeast Extension.
IVCC is a private club. Membership is by invitation or inquiry, controlled by by-laws, but prospective members can reach out via contact forms or work with banquet/catering or membership staff.
The club offers flexible event spaces, including a remodeled ballroom, private dining rooms, terrace garden venues, and outdoor areas. Its facilities can accommodate weddings, corporate events, birthday or retirement parties, private dinners, and more.
The ballroom can host up to around 300 guests, while more intimate rooms accommodate smaller groups (20-65).
