From raffles and tailgate menus to $1 wings and Eagles swag, Lansdale-area spots are ready for kickoff against the Cowgirls - er, Cowboys - at the Linc
The Philadelphia Eagles open their 2025 campaign under the bright lights Thursday night — but you do not need a ticket to the Linc to join the party.
Lansdale and North Wales bars are rolling out game-day specials, raffles, and tailgate spreads as the Birds take on the Dallas Cowgirls in prime time.
At Lansdale Tavern (839 W. Main St.), fans can enjoy wings, beer, and the chance to score big in a quarter-by-quarter raffle: a $25 gift card after the first, an XL Saquon Barkley jersey at halftime, an Eagles hat in the third, and a 43-inch Samsung TV in the fourth.
Harper & Penny’s (324 W. Main St.) is throwing a tailgate party starting at 7 p.m., with a menu straight out of South Philly — cheesesteaks, sausage and peppers, burgers, and hot dogs — all while cheering against the “Cowgirls.”
Over in North Wales, Tex Mex Connection (201 E. Walnut St.) is marking the season opener with $1 off Peroni drafts and $7 select appetizers, from chili nachos and loaded fries to tacos and taquitos.
Back in Lansdale, the Cannoneers Sportsmens Club (500 W. 5th St.) will serve up $2 Miller Lite drafts, 70-cent wings, and a home jersey raffle.
And if you really want a spread, Smokehouse Tavern (155 Pennbrook Parkway) has the ultimate lineup: $1 off all beer, wine, and Stateside cocktails; $1 bone-in wings; $3 pizza slices, tacos, hot dogs, risotto balls, spring rolls, and chicken fingers. They’ll also be running giveaways all night, including Eagles jerseys, gift cards, and “giant mugs” filled with beer.
A seat (and a special) are waiting nearby.

SEPTA Travel Advisory
Lincoln Financial Field released a travel advisory for SEPTA commuters ahead of Thursday’s battle.
Fans with tickets should arrive early and plan for additional travel time, with the team encouraging fans to be inside the stadium by 7:45 p.m.
Parking lots at the South Philadelphia complex will be open at 1:30 p.m., much earlier than they are usually open to the public.
Philadelphia Eagles asked fans, as a courtesy, to consolidate tailgates, so that all parking spaces can be made available to fans. According to the team, fans can setup a tailgate in front of or behind the parked vehicle within the painted white lines of the parking space.
To avoid added congestion, the Eagles have asked fans without a game ticket to not travel down to the sports complex.
“Arrangements should be made to enjoy the game with family and friends at another location,” said the Eagles.
SEPTA is operating with limited service, according to the Eagles organization, and encouraged fans to check the SEPTA website for updates or via the official SEPTA mobile app.
