A Lansdale Borough man, who said his victim could not have "adult feelings," has been sentenced to five to 10 years in state prison for admitting to raping a child in 2016 when he was 17 and the young girl was under 10.

Md Numir Hossin, 26, of the 500 block of Spruce Street, cut a guilty plea deal with prosecutors back in April on a felony rape of a child charge.

Nine other felonies and two misdemeanors were dismissed against Hossin as part of the plea agreement: A second charge of rape of a child, two counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child, two counts of aggravated indecent assault of someone under 13, two counts of indecent assault of someone under 13, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a minor, according to court records.

Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Thomas M. DelRicci, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, also ordered Hossin to complete three years of probation consecutive to parole, per court records.

Hossin avoided trial in the plea deal. He was charged in October 2024 for the rape, which occurred while the girl was in his company at an East Main Street home.

On July 25, 2024, Lansdale Police and the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth received a referral from the state Department of Human Service's Childline agency regarding allegations of the sexual abuse of a female juvenile victim, police said.

In a follow up interview with investigators, the victim said that she was sexually assaulted by Hossin on multiple occasions when he was 17 years old and she was five, according to charging documents.

On Sept. 3, 2024, Hossin was interviewed by police about the alleged incidents. Hossin said the incident happened once, and not the three or four times the victim alleged, per the complaint.

He also told police that since the victim was little, she could not have “adult feelings,” per the affidavit.

Montgomery County detectives conducted a polygraph on Hossin, police said, however the results of the test were not included in the affidavit of probable cause.

According to the report, Judge Thomas M. DelRicci ordered an evaluation by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board, which will determine if Hossin meets criteria to be classified as a sexually violent predator. However, the results of the assessment were not included in the plea agreement, according to court documents.

Assistant District Attorney Bradley Walter Deckel handled the case. Defense lawyer Danton Lee Moyer, of Media, represented Hossin.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
