North Montco students visited by JeffSTAT medical helicopter

North Montco Technical Career Center students had the opportunity to explore careers in emergency medical services during a special visit from JeffSTAT Critical Care Transport , a medical transportation service, on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

The crew discussed the training and career paths available in the field, which was especially relevant to Protective Services and Health Sciences students.

    

The students had the chance to meet the pilot and medical team, ask questions, and even sit inside the helicopter.

In a social media post, the tech center offered “a big thank-you to Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company and Towamencin Township Police Department for being on site and helping make this exciting learning experience possible.”
