I’m Karla D’Alessio, and I’m running for Hatfield Township commissioner in Ward 2 because I believe local government should be practical, transparent, and focused on what matters most to our community.

As someone who’s lived and worked here for many years, I’ve seen firsthand how dedicated neighbors and strong leadership make Hatfield such a wonderful place to call home. I’m not running to make politics my career — I’m running because I care deeply about this township and the people who live here.

Throughout my professional life, I’ve led with honesty, accountability, and a commitment to doing what’s right. I listen carefully, weigh the facts, and make decisions that balance fiscal responsibility with quality of life. I want to bring that same thoughtful approach to the Board of Commissioners.

If elected, I’ll work hard to:

• Support public safety — ensuring our police, fire, and emergency services have the resources they need to keep our community safe.
• Manage growth responsibly — protecting the character of our neighborhoods while encouraging smart development that fits Hatfield’s long-term vision.
• Keep taxes fair and spending transparent — focusing on efficiency and accountability in every decision.
• Invest in Hatfield’s infrastructure — from our roads and parks to the behind-the-scenes systems that residents count on every day. Maintaining these essential services is key to protecting both our property values and our quality of life.
• Be a strong voice for Ward 2 residents — advocating for the needs of every neighborhood and making sure your concerns are heard.

I believe it’s the responsibility of local leaders to plan ahead — not wait for problems to become crises. As your commissioner, I’ll keep asking the important questions and prioritizing the investments that keep Hatfield running strong.
