At least one man is injured after a vehicle accident in Franconia Township on Friday evening.

According to county dispatch, a vehicle accident with injuries was reported around the 600 block of Harlyesville Pike near Old Dutch Cupboard in Franconia just after 5 p.m. Friday. Reports stated that the incident, which occurred between Meetinghouse Road and Moyer Road slowed traffic in the township around 5:12 p.m.

One male reportedly complained of a head and or neck injury. EMS also said that a 1-year-old child may also need to be checked out at the scene. The vehicle crash included a Honda CRV.

First responders from the following units were dispatched: VMSC Lansdale, Freedom Valley Medical Rescue, Perseverance Fire Company of Souderton, and Telford Fire Company among other possible departments.

More information will be posted as it is made available. Traffic in the area is slowed, and drivers are asked to avoid the vicinity as crews work to clear the accident.
