1 transported from scene of overturned vehicle crash in Lower Salford Wednesday night

One person was transported by Freedom Valley Medical Rescue from the scene of a 2-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle Wednesday night in Lower Salford Township.

The accident occurred around 9:54 p.m. at Main Street/Route 63 and Maple Avenue. According to reports from the scene, and details from Montgomery County emergency dispatch, one person was trapped inside the overturned silver Chevrolet SUV, reportedly by their seatbelt.

The second vehicle was a black sedan. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage in the crash.

Lower Salford Police closed the intersection in all directions to process the crash scene.

Police were assisted by Harleysville Fire Co. and Upper Salford Fire Co. and Harleysville Fire Police.
