Newcomers to the sport invited to make a small donation and play a game on Thursday
Relish in the Dink this Thursday.
Dill Dinkers Pickleball at 1180 Church Road in Upper Gwynedd is the venue for Thursday afternoon’s North Penn School District Educational Foundation “Dink and Donate” fundraiser.
The event from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. is an open social play at the new pickleball facility (GPS: Lansdale) across from the Station Square Shops. Families and individuals are welcome to come out and try out the sport – paddles and balls provided.
Dill Dinkers staff will be on hand to assist anyone unfamiliar with the game. Experienced players will be at the event for competition.
There is a suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children to participate. Donations can be made online, or through cash and checks made out to the NPSD Educational Foundation.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the NPSD Educational Foundation, a nonprofit organization funding grants in the district that motivate and inspire students and staff through innovative projects and opportunities.
Children must be six or older to play, and younger children are welcome to spectate and hit balls in the Kiddie Corner. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
