Rift, a Philadelphia Phish tribute band, grooves Well Crafted Lansdale Saturday night
If the universe has been telling you to get back on the train, consider this your sign: Rift, a Phish tribute band from Philadelphia, is landing in Lansdale tomorrow night at Well Crafted Beer Co., and at $10, it is basically the Friendliest cover charge this side of Gamehendge.
Expect a night that drifts from Tweezer-style grooves into Weekapaug-ish sprints, the kind where you’re pretty sure the band is winding down … until they very much are not. If they drop into anything with the energy of Run Like an Antelope, don’t say you weren’t warned.
Rift is four friends who love Phish in a band playing Phish – Sean Coyne, John Hildenbrand, Matt Agostini and Matt Elberson.

You’ll probably hear a few deep-cut nods that only the real heads catch — a tease, a riff, a sideways glance toward Reba, maybe even a cheeky detour that feels like it’s trying to become You Enjoy Myself before the drummer reels everybody back in.
