Mater Dei Catholic School hosted its annual Veterans Day Prayer Service on Thursday, November 13, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, honoring the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
The prayer service brought together veterans, families, and community members for a time of reflection, gratitude, and prayer.
The program, coordinated by the sixth grade class, included a procession of the veterans, readings, a medal ceremony, hymns, and concluded with a brief graveside service in the parish cemetery.
As the sixth grade class shared, “Today, we honor our Veterans, worthy men and women, who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country.”
