(The following press release was provided verbatim by North Penn School District)
Tickets are on sale now for North Penn High School’s production of "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller.
Set in 1692 against the backdrop of the Salem Witch Trials, Arthur Miller’s "The Crucible" is a literary masterpiece, challenging our perceptions of who we can trust, how far one would go to accuse and insinuate our neighbors, and attempting to answer if our faith will be enough to protect us.
This play demands our attention, not just as a lesson on what has occurred in our past, but also as a reminder of what is unfolding in our present and what could happen in our future. Still taught in schools today, "The Crucible" contains themes of envy, jealousy, revenge, loyalty, hope, truth, and whether or not our goodness matters most in this world.
Performances will be held on Nov. 20, 21, 22 at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
Please note that due to ongoing construction at North Penn High School seating is limited.
