Police seek shoplifters in two separate Montgomeryville retail theft investigations

Incidents reported at Giant and Wegmans; police release surveillance images

Montgomery Township Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two unrelated shoplifting investigations at grocery stores in the Montgomeryville area this fall.

Police said the first incident occurred Oct. 18, 2025, at the Giant Food Store at 1201 Knapp Road. Investigators released images of two individuals suspected of stealing merchandise from the store. Anyone with information on their identities is asked to contact Officer Falgiatore at 215-362-2301 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.

In the second case, police are trying to identify a person suspected of stealing items from Wegmans at 804 Bethlehem Pike on Nov. 12, 2025. Surveillance images of the individual were released Wednesday. Those with information are asked to contact Officer Thomas at 215-362-2301 or submit a tip.

Police did not release additional details about the stolen merchandise in either investigation.
