Family-friendly event runs Dec. 4 to Dec. 6
Variety – the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley will once again be spreading joy this holiday season through Variety’s Holiday Lane. From Dec. 4 to Dec. 6, Variety will transform its 77-acre campus into an interactive, family-friendly winter wonderland.
This exciting multi-night event includes fun for the whole family with themed decorated cabins, a holiday craft bazaar, live entertainment, strolling characters, complimentary hot cocoa, various children’s activities, hot food, and festive outdoor decorations.
On Thursday, Dec. 4, raffle tickets will be on sale for those joining us for our driving-only tour.
On Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, visitors can walk along a festive Holiday Lane in which the exterior of Variety’s rustic cabins will be lit up with holiday lights and decorated in holiday themes by local community groups, who will compete for the votes of the public who attend the event.
Admission includes walking the lane, a complimentary cup of hot chocolate, live entertainment, and a visit with Santa. Additional activities include hot food and drink, kids’ games, amazing raffle baskets, and a holiday bazaar of handmade items by Variety kids.
Guests will also get to enjoy special appearances from local fire companies and Elmwood Park Zoo, along with magicians and interactive science experiments presented by Merck.
The event is a wonderful, family-friendly opportunity to visit Variety’s campus and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season while supporting a local organization that strives to continuously provide social and educational programs for the disability community in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.
As always, Holiday Lane would not be possible without the help of generous sponsors, including Allan Myers, Ambler Savings Bank, Independence Blue Cross, and Kyndryl, and the many volunteers who lend their time to make sure the event is one to remember.
