Three days of “sheer terror” bring Gillian Anderson, Michael Rooker, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Patrick, Linda Blair, Lloyd Kaufman and dozens more to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center
In Oaks this month, the monsters are not hiding under your bed — they are signing autographs.
Horror fans, assemble, as Monster-Mania Con 65 is coming to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center from Friday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 23, promising three days packed with celebrity encounters, collectibles, cosplay, and chills that even the bravest fans will feel down their spines.
The event, billed as “three days of sheer terror,” has become a fixture in the region’s pop culture calendar — a mash-up of horror convention, film festival, and family reunion for fans of all things creepy, campy, and cult classic.
Tickets are $41.74 for a day pass and $72.49 for a 3-day pass. Purchase tickets here.
This year’s guest lineup reads like a genre hall of fame. Gillian Anderson makes her first-ever Monster-Mania appearance, joining fellow "X-Files" stars Robert Patrick, Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish, and William B. Davis — along with a special exhibit from "The X-Files Preservation Collection," the world’s largest display of screen-used props and costumes from the series.
Also topping the bill are Michael Rooker ("Guardians of the Galaxy," "The Walking Dead"), Vincent D’Onofrio ("Men in Black," "Full Metal Jacket," "Marvel's Daredevil"), Linda Blair ("The Exorcist"), Juliette Lewis ("From Dusk Till Dawn," "Cape Fear," "Natural Born Killers" "Yellowjackets"), and the original Karate Kid duo Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who will share the spotlight fresh off their "Cobra Kai" success.
From slasher legends to superhero icons, attendees can also meet Jackie Earle Haley ("Watchmen," "A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)"), special effects legend Tom Savini, "Final Girls" Adrienne King and Amy Steel ("Friday the 13th" and "Friday the 13th Part 2," respectively), Laurie Holden ("The Walking Dead"), Shawn and Aaron Ashmore ("X-Men," "Locke & Key"), Mike Colter ("Luke Cage," "Evil"), Katja Herbers ("Evil"), Jeremy Davies ("LOST," "Black Phone"), Lew Temple ("The Walking Dead," "The Devil's Rejects"), C. Thomas Howell ("Red Dawn," "Soul Man"), and more.

Beyond the autograph tables and photo ops, fans can roam the dealer’s room, packed wall-to-wall with horror art, collectibles, apparel, and props. The convention enforces a no-weapons policy, though cosplay and creativity are highly encouraged — just leave the machete at home.
Tickets will be available at the door unless capacity is reached, and Saturday admission is expected to sell out in advance. Children under 10 enter free with a paying adult. Autograph prices vary by guest, and VIP ticket holders can pick up credentials on-site.
