Gigstreem Reviews Point to a Company Building the Future of Connectivity in America

  • News from our partners

When high-performance provider Gigstreem first entered the crowded internet service market in 2017, the company’s leadership knew they had to do something different. Traditional internet providers had left a sour taste with customers frustrated by throttling, surprise fees, long outages, and endless hold times with customer service.

Gigstreem’s vision was straightforward: deliver simple, fast, and reliable internet service built on advanced connectivity solutions. The company serves as a leading provider of high-capacity networks for multifamily properties and businesses, focused on removing complexity from the digital experience. Its mission centers on making connectivity seamless and dependable, with white-glove support to ensure users stay connected without interruption.

“We do manage Wifi differently,” said Patrick Albus, chief executive officer of Gigstreem. “Our goal is to engineer a better way, one that ensures residents, businesses, and property managers never have to worry about whether their network can keep up. We built our entire system to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and guarantee quality performance.”

Gigstreem specializes in serving apartment buildings, multifamily communities, and office spaces. Instead of leaving residents to coordinate with local internet companies, buy routers, and troubleshoot installations, Gigstreem provides a building-wide service that is active the moment a tenant moves in.

“You get zero throttling and zero latency at the lowest cost,” said Albus.

Gigstreem Has Great Reviews From Customers

For many residents, there’s a noticeable difference when they switch to Gigstreem.

Sanjay Sharma, who left a major national provider after years of frustration, praised Gigstreem in his review. “The service is reliable, billing is easy, speed is great, and their tech support responds quickly. So glad I switched from Comcast.”

Another long-time customer, Nathaniel Edison, recalled that when an outage occurred, “I called and immediately got a live person who told me exactly what happened, when it would be resolved, and even offered compensation for the time lost. Hands down the best provider I’ve ever had.”

Gigstreem’s promise goes beyond individual users. The company has positioned itself as a critical partner for property owners who want to make their buildings smarter, more efficient, and more appealing to tenants.

“Smart tech in multifamily is no longer a nice-to-have. It’s a must-have for resident satisfaction,” Albus explained. “The key to making it work is a strong digital infrastructure, and that is what Gigstreem was built to provide.”

Building A National Footprint

The company’s growth since its founding has been swift. Backed by investors confident in its potential, Gigstreem has pursued an ambitious expansion strategy, combining acquisitions with targeted deployments in major metropolitan areas.

In 2022, Gigstreem acquired Boston-based netBlazr, a residential and commercial provider known for its reliability and speed. For nearly a decade, netBlazr customers had grown accustomed to strong connections and personal support. Under the Gigstreem name, those qualities continued uninterrupted.

One customer reflected, “In those 10 years, I can think of maybe three or four times the service went down. Every time a rep knew exactly what was happening and was able to estimate a time of restoration. The speed is what attracted me, but the customer service is what kept me.”

In 2023, Gigstreem raised $59 million to fuel even greater expansion. With that capital, it acquired a significant portion of assets from GigaMonster, bringing more than 100 new properties into the fold and expanding into six new markets. That deal alone grew the company’s service to 52,000 apartment units across 28 markets, with plans to add 40,000 more.

In August 2025, the company announced it had closed its first asset-backed financing, supported by Crestline Investors, Inc., bringing an influx of $100 million to accelerate growth. The deal, the first of its kind in the multifamily broadband sector, was issued to a group of institutional investors at a fixed rate and received private credit ratings. Gigstreem said the funds will strengthen its balance sheet and fuel continued expansion into new multifamily communities.

“Our mission is to deliver exceptional internet experiences for both residents and property owners, and this investment reinforces that commitment,” said Albus.

For property managers, the appeal of Gigstreem goes beyond speed. Reliable internet has become a differentiator in the housing market. “Providing our residents with reliable, ubiquitous WiFi greatly enhances their living experience and serves as a foundational component of the community features we offer,” said Josh Gampp, senior vice president and chief technology officer of UDR. “Gigstreem has the engineering capabilities and ability to scale to ensure UDR communities get the best internet connectivity possible.”

That kind of endorsement reflects the way Gigstreem has embedded itself into the business model of modern real estate. Buildings that once treated the internet as an afterthought now rely on it as a core amenity.

In this shift, Gigstreem has found its opportunity to lead.

Gigstreem CEO: ‘Our Customers Deserve the Best’

What sets Gigstreem apart in a crowded market is its focus on trust and the customer experience. The company’s mission, “Connection. Without Compromise,” reflects its promise to deliver fast and reliable internet without hidden fees, contracts, or data caps.

Guided by its vision to shape the future of connected living, Gigstreem is built on trust and powered by people. Every decision the company makes centers on creating a better experience for residents and property owners, combining integrity, innovation, and genuine care.

Installation is designed to be seamless. There is no long wait for activation, no confusion about equipment, and no need for multiple service calls.

The technical backbone is equally important. Gigstreem built its network on dense mesh architecture, allowing traffic to be rerouted within seconds if a path fails. That design supports its 99.99 percent uptime guarantee. For residents, streaming video or professionals hosting video calls, that reliability can make all the difference.

For businesses, Gigstreem offers symmetrical speeds up to 10 gigabits per second.

That performance level, combined with redundancy, appeals to companies that cannot afford downtime. It also appeals to property managers who see high-speed internet as a selling point for their buildings.

“Our customers deserve the best, and we hold ourselves accountable to provide it,” Albus said. “That commitment is what drives our growth and our reputation.”

Gigstreem Is Committed To Giving Back

Gigstreem’s vision is not limited to technology. The company has also embraced community impact as part of its identity. In August 2025, it launched the Bandwidth for Backpacks program, a partnership with the Kids in Need Foundation. The initiative raises money to provide under-resourced students with backpacks filled with school supplies. Gigstreem’s leadership pledged to match every dollar donated, with a goal of equipping at least 100 children for the school year.

“Every child deserves the tools to learn and thrive,” a company post read. “Just $25 can provide a student with a backpack filled with supplies for the entire school year. Together we can help students start school prepared and confident.”

The campaign highlights Gigstreem’s belief that connection extends beyond networks.

Just as it seeks to eliminate dead zones in apartment complexes, it works to close gaps in opportunity within communities.

With rapid growth, loyal customers, and a reputation for reliable service, Gigstreem has established itself as more than another internet provider. It has become a thought leader in an industry where trust is often in short supply.

For Albus and the Gigstreem team, the formula remains simple. “We are here to engineer a better way to connect people,” he said. “When we do that with integrity and performance, everything else follows.
