One person was transported to a Jefferson Lansdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a rear-end crash Wednesday night on Bethlehem Pike/Route 309 in the Colmar section of Hatfield Township.
A red Nissan sustained heavy front-end damage in the two-vehicle crash around 7 p.m., and a white Chevrolet Equinox sustained rear-end damage, according to reports from the scene.
The accident blocked the northbound lanes of Route 309, with one vehicle coming to rest on the railroad tracks. The vehicles were removed off the tracks by authorities.
Hatfield Police and VMSC Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
