Traffic is detoured around the SEPTA crossing in Lansdale Borough
Residents around the area of West 8th Street in Lansdale Borough should expect the absence of traffic for at least the next two months, with commuters needing to find a detour around their normal routes.
PECO will begin work to bore for a new gas line under the rail crossings at West 8th Street, the borough announced last week.
In order to complete this project, West 8th Street will remain closed between Moyers Road and North Valley Forge Road for about 60 days.
Borough staff recommended commuters plan accordingly and follow all posted detours.
