Shekala’s Boutique in Telford is set to host a special “Ladies Night Out” event at the historic Telford Train Station on April 3 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The event will benefit the Keystone Opportunity Center, a local social services agency. Women are invited to enjoy exclusive shopping discounts, delicious treats, and a chance to give back to the community.
Shoppers who donate to KOC will receive special discounts:
• $10 donation – 15% off one regular-priced item and entry to win a $15 gift certificate.
• $15 donation – 15% off all regular-priced items and entry to win a $15 gift certificate.
• $25+ donation – 20% off all regular-priced items and entry to win a $15 gift certificate.
For those unable to attend the evening event, Shekala’s will honor the same discounts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for customers who mention Keystone Opportunity Center at both Shekala’s Boutique and the Family Heritage Gift Shop at 508 Harleysville Pike in Telford, said a Keystone Opportunity Center press release.
Shekala’s owner Sheryl Derstine has a long-standing history of supporting community nonprofits through fundraising fashion shows and special events. With two boutique locations, she has created a loyal customer base that extends beyond the region, said the release.
“Family Heritage Gift Shop and Shekala’s have felt called to partner with many local nonprofits over the last 25 years,” said Sheryl Derstine. “We believe in giving back to our community. We should all be willing to share in the responsibility to care for others. We are looking forward to supporting Keystone Opportunity Center and giving hope to those who desperately need it.”
Keystone Opportunity Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families in need by providing housing, education, and food assistance. All proceeds from the event will directly support their mission to aid those experiencing hardship in the community, said the release.
