Breaking: emergency crews respond to barn fire near area of Souderton Borough Community Park

The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday night.

Emergency crews responded to a barn fire at 5:22 p.m. in the 400 block of N Main Street in Souderton Borough near the area of Souderton Borough Community Park. 

The second story of a barn on the property was engulfed in flames and it suffered damage from the blaze. 

Crews from Perseverance Fire Company, Telford Fire Company, Hatfield Fire Company, and VMSC, responded to the scene and have the fire under control. 

Part of the barn appeared to be used for household storage items. No cause has been reported. 

Traffic is limited to one lane in the area. 

There have been no reports of injuries.
