Elizabeth Marie Fox was charged with drug trafficking by Bucks County detectives
A Sellersville woman is accused of dealing methamphetamine in Sellersville Borough.
Elizabeth Marie Fox, 39, was charged last week by Bucks County detectives and Quakertown Borough Police with felony possession with intent to deliver meth and an associated felony conspiracy charge, three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia, stemming from a March 4 incident, police said in an affidavit.
On that day, detectives were taking part in a narcotics investigation, surveilling an apartment on Temple Avenue, according to the complaint. At 10:43 a.m., two people appeared outside the apartment, who had active warrants. In addition, Fox and another person redacted in the criminal complaint were also tenants and also had active warrants, police said.
Members of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department moved in to make arrests, and as deputies converged, one of the suspects slammed a door in a deputy’s face and was seen through the window running deeper into the apartment, police said.
Parts of a firearm were on a windowsill, according to the complaint. Meanwhile, Fox and another tenant were drawn out of another apartment and taken into custody, police said.
Police did a safety sweep of a second apartment for other occupants, and allegedly found meth paraphernalia in plan view, police said.
A search warrant was conducted on the apartment at 5:15 p.m. In Fox’s bedroom, police found notebooks with owe sheets located by her bed and on the floor, according to the affidavit.
A black Sentry lockbox was found open in her closet, police allege. The lockbox had a digital scale with a weighing tray containing suspected methamphetamine residue, new baggies and used bulk-size baggies with suspected meth residue, along with another baggie with a small amount of suspected meth residue, police said.
Next to the lockbox was a glass meth pipe, police allege.
The room also had numerous new and unused plastic canisters, allegedly used to package meth.
On Fox’s nightstand, police allegedly found a pill bottle without a label, containing 56 blue oval pills, suspected to be alprazolam, according to the complaint. Under the bed, authorities allegedly found a magnetic lockbox that was used too conceal meth during transport.
In the living room, investigators allege in the complaint that a gray cloth lockbox was on a recliner, and the lockbox had a baggies of suspected meth and a digital scale.
A change purse was found with $297 in cash, police said. A bag of marijuana was also found, police allege.
In the bathroom, investigators found a metal cigarette box with more blue pills and a blue waxy baggie stamped “AMG,” containing suspected fentanyl and other paraphernalia, police said.
In the kitchen, investigators found a bag of donuts, in which Fox allegedly hid a glass pipe with meth residue.
Within days after the search warrant, investigators spoke with a confidential informant who told police Fox and another occupant work together to sell meth out of the Sellersville apartment, according to the affidavit.
The informant told police that the unidentified colleague of Fox’s keeps a gray canvas lockbox to store meth for sale, per the affidavit. Police said this colleague was keeping the money away from Fox, due to her alleged fentanyl habit.
Fox also has a lockbox in her bedroom closet and keeps meth and paraphernalia there, as well as in the hutch by her closet, police said.
