Perkasie Borough police are taking a big step toward helping homeless individuals in Bucks County.

The department’s Community Relations Specialist Chris Doheny has collected more than 30 emergency resource bags for the homeless via Revivals Outreach Center.

Each bag is packed with essential items: Emergency blankets, ponchos, non-perishable food, water, socks, hygiene products, and hats.

In addition, Perkasie Police ensured each bag comes with a comprehensive list of community resources for food and housing, such as Revivals, Pennridge FISH Organization Inc., and other local groups.

“The police department extends its gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Revivals for their assistance in making this collaborative effort a success. This initiative enables the Perkasie Borough Police Department to provide a vital service to the community and those in need,” police said.
