A two-vehicle accident has blocked the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Wambold Road in Towamencin Township Wednesday night, six hours after a collision sent one person to an area hospital.

According to Montgomery County emergency dispatch, a head-on collision was reported at 5:30 p.m. 

There were no reported injuries. 

Towamencin Police were assisted at the scene by VMSC Emergency Medical Services and Harlesyville Area EMS. 

Earlier in the day Wednesday, a collision occurred at the intersection, which resulted in an emergency response from Towamencin Fire Co., Harleysville Fire Co., VMSC EMS, Harleysville Area EMS, and Hatfield Fire Co.
