The October event will be held at the historic property on Weikel Road in Towamencin.
This October, history, heritage, and creativity come together for the inaugural Harvest Heritage Day at the historic Morgan Log House on Weikel Road in Towamencin.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event is promoted as a celebration of the past, present, and future, offering visitors a chance to explore the rich traditions of the area in an engaging and interactive setting.
The Harvest Heritage Day event is open to all local artists, craftspeople, performers, and community groups to join in the festivities by showcasing their unique talents.
Whether you specialize in traditional crafts, art, music, or historical demonstrations, this is an opportunity to connect with the community and share your work, according to its February newsletter.
Attendees will experience live demonstrations of time-honored crafts, an artisan market featuring handmade goods, and musical performances that will bring the spirit of the past to life.
The day will also feature a variety of engaging activities for all ages and families.
As this is the first year of the event, Morgan Log House is welcoming artists, vendors, and community partners without charging a space fee.
However, those interested in participating are encouraged to consider making a donation to the Morgan Log House to support its mission.
Participants are also asked to bring their own pop-up tents, chairs, and setup materials.
