Dear North Penn Community,
The school year has come to a close! It is a time of excitement, a bit of relief, and a touch of sadness as our graduating seniors close this chapter of their lives. As members of the NPSD Board of School Directors, we have the privilege each year to attend commencement and hand diplomas to the graduates. The ceremony is a wonderful reminder of why each of us are here- to support the North Penn community and continue providing students with an education that sets them up for success.
Of the 1,062 students in the graduating Class of 2025, students will be headed to public and private colleges and universities, vocational schools, the workforce, military, and more. This graduating class earned over $150,000 in senior awards, and 9 students were named finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Awards. Whatever your path, head out with confidence and carry all the knowledge you have gained during your time as a Knight.
As we move into the summer, work in the North Penn School District does not stop. Our facilities staff is hard at work deep cleaning the buildings and completing important maintenance. Renovations to North Penn High School continue, and our staff is planning thoughtfully to make sure disruptions during the school year are minimal. The Educational Services Center remains open throughout the summer, working on new student registration and preparations for the next school year. Summer camps and enrichment programs are available for many of our students, providing academic support and keeping students engaged throughout the summer.
I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all members of the North Penn School District staff. Your unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the broader school community. I would especially like to extend my sincere appreciation to those who have retired during this school year. Your years of service and contributions have played a significant role in shaping the supportive and enriching environment that defines North Penn. We will miss you as you enter this wonderful next chapter!
Thank you to everyone for completing yet another successful school year at North Penn! To the Class of 2025, we wish you luck in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Dr. Elisha Gee
NPSD Board of School Directors
