A three-car crash with injuries has shut down Cowpath Road near Broad Street in Hatfield Township Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. near the Wawa at the intersection, and was downgraded from a rescue situation, according to Montgomery County emergency operations dispatch.
The three vehicles involved were a silver Toyota Corolla, sustaining rear driver and passenger side damage; a gold Chevrolet Traverse, with front driver side damage; and a white Toyota RAV4 with rear end damage and a busted rear windshield, according to reports from the scene.
Three patients were transported from the scene.
At least four Hatfield Police units responded to the accident, along with three VMSC Emergency Medical Services ambulances, Montgomery Township Fire Police, Colmar Fire Co. and Hatfield Fire Co.
