Traffic from County Line to Horsham roads is currently closed in both directions.
A multiple vehicle accident in Montgomery Township has roads both slowed and closed Wednesday evening.
According to county dispatch, a traffic collision was called into emergency services around 6:35 p.m. in Montgomery Township. Those at the scene said that a call for a rescue was originally a concern, though first responders said that occupants were able to get out of the vehicles on their own.
A white SUV sustained heavy driver’s side damage, while a darkly colored sedan presented heavy front end damage, as well as a missing front, left wheel. Those at the scene reported other vehicles may have been involved, but no damaged automobiles were visible.
Route 202 between Horsham and County Line roads is closed as first responders clear the scene. Responding to the scene were units from VMSC Lansdale, the Montgomery Township Fire Department, as well as other first responders.
Debris was scattered along Route 202 due to the accident, requiring crews to remove and clear the area. At this time, no occupants have been transported for medical service. More information will be published as it is made available.
