1 transported with injuries after 2-car crash at Hilltown intersection Friday afternoon

At least one person was sent to an area hospital with injuries suffered in a two-car crash at a Hilltown Township intersection Friday afternoon.

According to reports from the scene and Bucks County emergency traffic, the accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at Rickert Road and Green Street. 

Rickert Road was impassable, but traffic was allowed through the intersection down Green Street. 


    The accident with rescue sent a silver Toyota Camry into a roadside ditch and it sustained heavy front-end and rear-end damage. The second vehicle was a red Mazda SUV, which sustained heavy front-end damage.

Hilltown Police and Hilltown Fire were assisted at the scene by Chal-Brit EMS, VMSC Emergency Medical Services, and Silverdale Fire Co. 

All other occupants were safely out of the vehicle.
