One person was taken by VMSC Emergency Medical Services for treatment of non life-threatening injuries after a driver accelerated a red Ford sedan into a house on the 100 block of Stony Creek Avenue, between Girard Avenue and Beth Drive in Upper Gwynedd Township Thursday night, in a neighborhood located off of South Broad Street.
Upper Gwynedd Township Fire and North Penn Vol. Fire Co. were on scene for the accident with rescue, in addition to VMSC EMS, the Upper Gwynedd fire marshal, and Upper Gwynedd Police. The accident was reported around 5:20 p.m. and cleared within 15 minutes.
No homeowners were injured, per reports, and a man and woman were in the vehicle.
Due to structural damage, with the car taking out the left front corner of the home, the house has been cordoned off from the public, as investigators process the scene.
