A pedestrian was struck in Lansdale, with the striking vehicle failing to stop.
The report of a pedestrian struck in a hit-and-run vehicular accident on midday Saturday, Jan. 18 was called into county dispatch services. According to the call, units were sent around 12:26 p.m. to the area of Jenkins Avenue and South Broad Street within the borough.
Dispatched to the scene are the Lansdale Police, Freedom Valley Medical Rescue, and the VCMS Lansdale, among other first responders.
The condition of the pedestrian has not been released at this time. More information will be posted as it is made available.
Early reports stated that the striking vehicle fled the scene. The car was described as a white Hyundai sedan.
