Joshua Ronan, of Lansdale, is accused of assaulting Mark Christopher Miller on Nov. 5, 2024, on Cabin Run Road.
Charges of attempted first-degree murder, felony aggravated assault and additional misdemeanor charges were held for Montgomery County Common Pleas Court against a Lansdale man following a preliminary hearing Thursday.
Joshua Ronan, 30, of Lansdale, is accused of assaulting Mark Christopher Miller on Nov. 5, 2024, on Cabin Run Road.
Hatfield Police received a call around 11 p.m. and responded to a residence to find Miller unresponsive in the driveway with blunt force trauma to his head, authorities allege.
Before police arrived, Ronan was driven to his house by one of the residents. Detectives recovered a brick wrapped in a balaclava mask on the floor of the vehicle where Ronan had been sitting, police said.
The brick matches the injuries suffered by the victim, authorities allege.
Misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment, simple assault and possessing an instrument of crime were also held for county arraignment in February.
Ronan remains incarcerated on bail at $500,077 cash bail, which includes a probation detainer. He is represented by attorney NIcholas Beeson of West Chester.
