Residents on the block are without water for an indefinite period of time.
A water main break has occurred on the 600 block of Delaware Avenue in Lansdale Borough Thursday night, affecting about a dozen homes for an indefinite period of time during subfreezing temperatures.
The break occurred shortly after 9 p.m.
North Penn Water Authority officials are on scene, as well as Lansdale Borough Public Works and Electric Department. USIC also responded to verify underground utilities.
Delaware Avenue is closed between South Cannon and Mitchell avenues.
