Single vehicle accident leaves one car on its roof Wednesday night

Emergency crews responded to a report of an accident with injuries, with one vehicle on its roof, Wednesday night at the intersection of Wambold and Allentown Roads, in Towamencin Township, at about 10:30 p.m..

Upon arrival, crews encountered a vehicle off the side of the roadway and on its roof. VMSC Emergency Medical Services evaluated and transported at least one person to an area hospital, with unknown injuries. 

Traffic in the area was slowed while crews worked to process the scene. It's unknown what caused the accident to occur, and at least one vehicle was towed.

Towamencin Police were also on scene, and had the scene cleared in less than an hour.
