The Wings haven't played a home game in nearly a month. But the road has been kind to them, as they picked up victories both in Las Vegas against the Desert Dogs and in Saskatchewan against the Rush.
The club has now won three straight games since dropping their season opener in San Diego. Their 3-1 record is good for third place in the National Lacrosse League, and their +13 goal differential is second only to Buffalo.
There's no mystery to the Wings' early success: they're simply dominating offensively, to the tune of 15.25 goals per game. That's another figure that is second only to Buffalo (15.33) in the NLL.
They beat Vegas 15-9 on December 20, as Joe Resetarits led the way with four goals and nine assists. Resetarits is currently second in the league in scoring.

Things got a little chippy in that one, as the Desert Dogs probably tired of getting manhandled by the Wings in two consecutive games.

Cattoni is currently sixth in the league in goals scored. Other standouts through four games include Mitch Jones, who is third in the NLL in goals, and top overall draft pick Brennan O'Neill, who leads all rookies in goals and points.

Brimming with confidence, the Wings will be back in Philly for a game against the 2-1 Calgary Roughnecks. Another W would secure Philly's best start in modern franchise history.
And some special friends will be in the Wells Fargo Center to cheer them on:
