Packers-Eagles Playoff Matchup To Be Called by Tom Brady’s Broadcast Crew

For the fourth time, Tom Brady will be involved in a playoff game with the Eagles.

FOX is broadcasting the Eagles Wild Card Weekend matchup with the Green Bay Packers at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. It is the only game that FOX will have during the six-game Wild Card Weekend slate, so by process of elimination we can conclude that the Packers-Eagles matchup will draw the network's No. 1 crew. 

Brady joined FOX's NFL coverage in 2024 as the color commentator in the network's No. 1 booth. It is the first season of a 10-year/$375 million contract for the most accomplished player in the history of the sport. 

We now know when the #Eagles will host the Green Bay Packers on Wild Card Weekend.

During his illustrious playing career, the Eagles faced off with Brady on three occasions in the postseason. Brady and the Patriots defeated the Eagles 24-21 in Super Bowl XXXIX, but it was the Eagles who took down Brady and New England 41-33 in Super Bowl LII. Then as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady earned the final playoff win of his career in 2021, defeating the Eagles 31-15. 

FOX's No. 1 booth — which includes Kevin Burkhardt on play-by-play with Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi as the sideline reporters — called two Eagles games during the regular season. Brady and company were on the call in Week 4 when the Eagles lost 33-16 in Tampa Bay to the Buccaneers. They also broadcast a 27-13 win by the Eagles over the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Linc in Week 15. 

If the Eagles go on a Super Bowl run, they're likely going to get used to hearing this broadcast crew. It's unclear if the Eagles would draw FOX's No. 1 crew if they advance to the divisional round, but the Brady crew will call both the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl LIX.
