Bicyclist struck, injured on 202 Parkway Wednesday afternoon

The accident occurred at 2:14 p.m.

A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle and taken to an area hospital by VMSC Emergency Medical Services for treatment Wednesday afternoon at the Route 202 Parkway and Horsham Road intersection in Montgomery Township.

At 2:14 p.m., numerous VMSC EMS crews, Montgomery Township Police and Fire Department of Montgomery Township were called to an initial report of a struck pedestrian at the intersection.

The biker was placed on a stretcher and assessed at the scene prior to transport.

Southbound lanes of Horsham Road were closed at Upper State Road and at the Parkway.
