State Rep. Liz Hanbidge announced earlier this month that five local fire/EMS companies in her Montgomery County legislative district will receive a total of $90,368 in state grants to enhance their operations and emergency response efforts.
The funding is to be awarded as follows:
"Firefighters and EMTs are always there for us when we need them, and this funding helps ensure that they will continue to be supported with the resources they need to stay safe and serve our communities. It’s one way we can show our gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice," Hanbidge said.
