Montgomery Township Police invites the parents, guardians and educators to join them and “Be a Part of the Conversation” on Tuesday, March 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center for a discussion surrounding the challenges with raising children and teens.

MTPD will address the potency of today’s cannabis, other controlled substances, impaired driving, and more, with a special focus on teens and emerging adults.

Polic said parents can gain valuable insights, ask questions, and discover practical ways to help young people navigate these risks.

The event also has a Mock Teen Bedroom, where parents, guardians and educators can learn to identify signs of substance use and other trends, like vaping, police said. The tour of the bedroom is for ages 21 and older.

Register here to attend the event.

The event is presented by Be a Part of the Conversation, and funded by Family Services and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.
