Vehicle fire disrupts traffic on Forty Foot Road Monday afternoon

According to Montgomery County emergency dispatch, the driver was rescued through a broken window.

A Honda Pilot SUV caught fire at Forty Foot Road and Towamencin Avenue in Hatfield Borough Monday afternoon, disrupting traffic near the intersection.

A portion of Forty Foot Road was closed between the intersection and right past Vinny's Pizzarama, following the accident around 12:28 p.m.

According to Montgomery County emergency dispatch reports, a male driver was pulled and rescued out of the vehicle via a broken window. 

Hatfield Fire Co., Colmar Fire Co. and Hatfield Police were on scene.
