NAACP branch hosting showing of '42' film
The Black Reserve Bookstore and shops in The Dresher Arcade will host a Black History Month Bazaar, 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at The Dresher Arcade, 317-319 W. Main St.
There will be music, food and crafts, with other small businesses from the area participating.
The following day, Sunday, Feb. 23, from noon to 3 p.m., the bookstore will hold its annual bookbag, school supply giveaway. School essentials will be given away for free, and the day will also feature food, music and fun.
Anointed Expressions and Hair Lounge XP will be providing selective hairstyling for girls and haircuts for boys. And DJ Tone Arm will provide live music.
The event is sponsored in part by The Ambler Branch of the NAACP. The branch also invites the public to a free screening of the movie ’42’ (2013) in celebration of Black History Month with at the Ambler Theater on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6-8:30 p.m.
